The Women's Basic Class is for women 16 yrs and older (with parental consent) and is approximately three hours. The class will teach women how to identify and determine their personal risk factor, evade conflict, prepare if conflict is unavoidable, defend, and successfully win an attack. Classes are conducted in a fun and interactive manner with respect and safety for all participants. Each class offers pertinent information, introduction to vital skills, and an opportunity to apply of these new skills. All classes stress the importance of awareness, boundary setting, personal value, psychological preparedness, and scientifically tested effective techniques. The class is appropriate for all women regardless of skill level, conditioning, or endurance.

The Advance Women's Class is for women 16 yrs and older (with parental consent) and is approximately 2 hours. The class compliments the skills learned in the Basic Women's class. Reinforcing basic skills this class focuses on multiple attacker scenarios, and defense against knife and gun attackers. This class is appropriate for women who want to take self defense to the next level.

Ground Fighting Falling (Winning from the Ground)

The ground fighting class is for women 16 yrs and older (with parental consent) and is approximately 2 hours. The class is an hour and a half and is designed to teach women to over come the fear of getting knocked over by an attacker. The ground is the best place to fight from ~ this class will teach you how and why. The class teaches how to fall correctly to minimize risk to self, how and when to get up, and how to win from the ground. This class is appropriate for women who want to learn how to win from the ground.

Release from Grabs and Holds

This course offers techniques to break free from unwanted grabs and holds and is approximately an hour and a half. Many times, when a perpetrator is initially trying to control a woman, it is through a grab or a hold. Seldom, does a perpetrator walk up to a woman and punch her. The techniques in this class are designed for the holds and grabs used to drag, pull or gain control over a woman. These techniques are realistic and can be utilized with out a lot of practice for all skill levels. This class is appropriate for all women regardless of skill level, conditioning, or endurance.

Utilizing a key chain is a method of self defense women are familiar with. The class includes a key chain and utilizes appropriate strike zones for effective self defense. The class reviews the vital areas to strike and identifies pressure points to maximize effectiveness. This class is appropriate for all women regardless of skill level, conditioning, or endurance.

Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Class

This hour to two hour course will offer women, significant others, and trainers, knowledge and skills to take control in the early stages of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) (emotional, physical, and sexual) in order to prevent an atmosphere conducive to violence. The course identifies the progression and escalation of violence from the beginning and assists people in relationships in addressing and preventing the behaviors that lead to physical violence. This course will give them an advantage of early identification through warning signs. It offers tools for verbal de-escalation and an opportunity to utilize these skills in role plays. The course encourages self awareness and boundary setting. Lastly, the course offers participants the *right* to address abusive behavior in a non threatening way. The ultimate goal for the participant is to recognize and prevent domestic abuse (emotional, physical & sexual) through psychological, verbal, and physical de-escalation. This class is excellent for pre-dating teens and college age women.

The children’s classes contain age appropriate material and are held for ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-12, and 13- 15. Parents do need to be present during the entire class for 3-8 yr olds. All other children’s classes, the parent is not required to remain in the class. The children’s classes consist of games, role plays, fun interaction, awareness, verbal and physical self defense according to age. An emphasis is placed on respect of self and others as well as setting personal boundaries. Children's classes vary from an hour for 3-8 to an hour and a half for 9 and older.
